Seems I cannot make any calls from the phone now that I have installed the SIM. SIM is valid and working. When I try it states “calling via Emergency Calls”. Any suggestions?

I have downloaded and installed Nougat on my I9195 and am completely happy with it. Just waiting for an update to install now. One thing I notice is that the notifications for facebook, email etc, don’t appear on the main screen icons, ie, how many I have. Is there a remedy for this?

    • Hi @disqus_mbNzTVnDz5:disqus

Are you using the battery saver mode? It restricts most of the notifications to save battery life.

      • John Tighe

That is possible but now I cannot seem to find where to turn battery Saver on or off.

        • That is pretty strange and it happens only with the notifications of facebook and emails?

          • John Tighe

Yes, and messages, in fact I would say it is all notifications where you get a number notification.

Another question on a Samsung S7 cellphone. I notice the firmware on my S7 is for the UAE market. I have downloaded the Firmware from Sammobile for my market ie Australia. Can I just simply follow the instructions and install via Odin over the top of the UAE firmware?

    • Hi @disqus_mbNzTVnDz5:disqus

Sorry for a late reply. The team was busy in celebrating new year. 🙂

Regarding the query, Yes you can install it via Odin. It will work perfectly. 🙂
