How to Use Sidecar in macOS with iPadOS on iPad

  1. Launch System Preferences App on your MacBook and select the Sidecar This will give you options related to the Sidecar feature.
  2. Next, make sure your iPad is connected to your mac.
  3. In the Sidecar preferences window, select the drop-down on the “Connect to:” box. Your iPad running iPadOS should be listed here. Select your iPad from the list.
  4. You will feel a sudden flash on your mac and then the iPad will start acting as your mac’s secondary screen.
