- Pick up your OnePlus 5 and open Settings from the app drawer.
- In settings tap on Alert Slider under Customizations section.
- Now you will see three options — “Silent”, “Do not disturb” and “Ring”. Tap on the option which you want to manipulate.
- For Silent position, you can choose whether the media should be muted as well when silent mode is on. Or you can toggle vibration on and off. However, Alarm will always ring in silent mode and this cannot be changed.
- Within the do not disturb function there is a lot to play with. You can manage favorite contacts which will ring even in do not disturb mode. Another interesting option is Repeat Callers, when toggled on it will allow the call to ring if the same contact calls repeatedly within the span of 3 minutes.
- The third one is Ring function and there is not much to do here. You can only choose whether the phone should vibrate when a call comes through.
