A senior XDA member, TingyiChen released the official TWRP for Xiaomi Redmi Note 5/Redmi 5 Plus. The official TWRP allows you to install custom ROMs, mods and tweaks on your Xiaomi Redmi Note 5/Redmi 5 Plus. Moreover, the same developer is working on a port of Lineage OS 14.1.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is the successor of Redmi Note 4 and it comes with a 5.9 inch Full HD+ screen which comes with the resolution of 2160 x 1080, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage and the dual 12 MP cameras.
