Version 3.6 brings forth a couple of new features, theme selection, and notch support. In previous versions, the Rootless Pixel Launcher would choose the theme automatically based on the color theme of your wallpaper. You can still keep on this option in version 3.6, but now you also get a little bit more control over your launcher in terms of theme. You can now choose from Default, Light, Dark, and Transparent. Each of the themes changes the background color of the app drawer and some other minor things like the text color.
The second most noticeable feature of Rootless Pixel Launcher 3.6 is Notch Support. With tons of flagship phones coming with Notches, it’s inevitable to ignore it while developing an app or launcher. Amir Zaidi did the same and adjusted the position of Google Search Bar so it doesn’t get cut out by the Notch.
