How to Use Odin on MAC OSX

  1. Download JOdin3 on your MacBook.
  2. Now Open JOdin3 and click on PDA
  3. Select the file you want to flash on your Samsung Device. (.tar.md5)
  4. Now boot your Samsung Device into download mode. To do so Press and Hold the Power + Volume Down + Home
  5. Make sure all other options are unchecked except Auto-Reboot.
  6. Now click the Start
  7. Now, JOdin3 will ask for the PIT file of your Samsung Device.
  8. After the installation is initiated, follow the on-screen instructions.

  1. I keep on getting stopped at the PIT file step. I am being told that I need a PIT file, then something will download and then the phone re-starts. HELP
