Android Nougat Update for Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge

Samsung has been rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat updates for its phones since Nougat was available. Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge has already received the update and users of it are enjoying the new flavor of Android. However, Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge hasn’t received it yet. It seems like the update for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge users, is just around the corner. A couple of weeks ago the (SM-G920) passed  Wi-Fi Alliance certification.

Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are promised majority of the features available on Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. These features include a new gesture-friendly camera interface, Grace UX, a redesigned status bar with stackable notifications. Moreover, Galaxy S6 and Edge users will be able to enjoy the Pop-up View mode. Despite the fact, Galaxy S6 and Edge will get the majority of the features there are still some exclusive to Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. These exclusive features include motion panorama feature, few camera modes like Food, Selfie flash, and Hyperlapse. Video Enhancer, Performance Mode and Always On display will also not be available for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

Samsung hasn’t announced any official date yet but as the circumstances suggest we can expect Nougat update for Galaxy S6 and S6 edge pretty soon.
