How to Take Photos in 40MP Resolution on Huawei P20 Pro

  1. Launch the stock camera app on your Huawei P20 Pro.
  2. Now, if you are not in the Photo Mode, slide the dial above the shutter button to bring on the photo mode on screen.
  3. Once you are in Photo Mode, tap on the Gear Icon present at the top right corner of the screen to open up the Settings Menu.
  4. From the menu, tap on the Resolution option and set it to 40MP. (By default, it is set to 10MP).
