No third-party applications will be required to take a screenshot with using hardware buttons. We have compiled a step by step guide on how to take screenshot on Galaxy A7 (2017).
You can take screenshots by:
- Hardware Buttons
- Palm Swipe Gesture
How to take screenshot using hardware buttons
Step 1: Go to the screen, of which you want to take a screenshot.
Step 2: Now press Home and Power button together.
Step 3: The screen will flash and you will hear a click sound. This shows that screenshot is successfully taken.
How to take screenshot with Palm Swipe Gesture
Step 1: First you will have to activate Palm Swipe Gesture. To do so go to Settings > Motion.
Step 2: From the Motion Menu find Hand Motions and from here enable the Palm Swipe to Capture by checking the checkbox.
Step 3: Now that you have enabled the required gesture, simply navigate to the screen of which you want to take a screenshot.
Step 4: Here is the tricky part! Now place your hand on your screen, of course you don’t need to touch the screen, like you are going to Karate Chop it and simply swipe it across the screen horizontally edge to edge from either side.
There you go, you have your screenshots. The screenshots are saved in Screenshots folder in your Gallery, you can easily access them from there. They won’t mix up with your other images and photos.
