ZTE officially launched the new Android update for their popular Android smartphone ZTE Axon 7. The new B19 update is based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is now available as an OTA update. The new firmware comes with a build id of A2017UV1.1.B19 and is packed with the latest security patches and some new features such as the Wi-Fi Calling support, Daydream update, Caller ID update, new emojis and a lot more. The ZTE Axon 7 has some tremendous specifications and overall it’s a nice surprise from a company not known for its speedy firmware updates.
If you’re an owner of ZTE Axon 7 then it’s time to update the device to Android 7.0 Nougat. Pre-requisites:
- Make sure you have created a full backup of your device including your personal photos and videos.
- Your device should have more than 60 percent or higher battery to prevent any unexpected shutdowns during the update process.
- You have installed the latest ZTE Axon 7 USB Drivers.

How to Flash Official Android 7.1.1 Nougat on ZTE Axon 7:
Step 1: Download the official Android 7.1.1 Nougat for ZTE Axon 7.
Step 2: Now rename the zip file to OTA.zip
Step 3: Now connect your device with your PC using the USB cable.
Step 4: Once connected, place the OTA.zip in the root folder of your SD card.
Step 5: Now turn off your device and power it back on by pressing and holding Volume Down + Power key simultaneously to access the recovery mode.
Step 6: Once you are in recovery mode, tap on the ‘Apply Update’ and select the OTA.zip file that you placed in the root directory.
Step 7: Now, the installation process will begin and it will take some time to complete. Once completed, you have the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat installed on your ZTE Axon 7.
