How to flash official Android 7.0 Nougat on Huawei GR5 Mini

Huawei promised to deliver over 48 hours long lasting battery with its Huawei GR5 Mini Android smartphone. The GR5 Mini has been equipped with 3000mAh battery and has an intelligent power saving functionality that eliminates the hassle of using Power banks and constant charging. The Huawei GR5 Mini has a 5.2 inch touch screen display with the resolution of 1080 x 1920, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and is powered by a OCta Core Hisilicon Kirin 650 processor. Moreover, the device comes with Android M out of the box but now you can easily update your Huawei GR 5 Mini to Android 7.0 Nougat as Huawei has officially released Android 7.0 OS for the device.

How to Flash Official Android 7.0 Nougat on Huawei GR5 Mini:

Step 1: First download the official Android 7.0 Nougat update for Huawei GR5 Mini.

Step 2: Now create a folder named ‘dload’ in the root of your internal storage.

Step 3: Now transfer the ‘Update.app’ file you downloaded to this folder.

Step 4: Once placed, go to Settings and go into the Update option. Press the menu key and choose Local update.

Step 5: The file you placed will show there. Now tap on it and start the update process.

Step 6: The process may take some time to complete. Once completed, the phone will reboot automatically.
