Nokia is back with a bang with a promise to bring the best and powerful smartphones in the market and a commitment to release the latest OS upgrades as quickly as possible. Nokia’s flagship smartphone Nokia 8 has already received the Oreo update and now it’s time for the mid-range smartphones. Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer at HMD Global announced today the firm is bringing Android Oreo update for Nokia 5 with immediate effect. He also stated that the Nokia 6 beta will follow “very soon”. In order to use the latest Oreo beta update, you need to sign up on beta labs and validate your device by typing the phone’s IMEI code. After submitting the request, you will receive the OTA update within 12 hours.

The beta testing for Nokia took a month to complete so we are expecting that the Nokia 5 will also take a complete to complete. If you are a Nokia 5 user then it’s time to try the Oreo beta on your device.
