Nokia 8 has started receiving the latest October 2018 Android security update in some big markets. The update includes the latest security patch and it weighs only 84.3 MB. Currently, the update is available as an OTA update and if you own a Nokia 8 Android device then its time to go check for new updates. Right now, India, Pakistan and Indonesia are one of those markets that have received the update. The new security updates fixes the severe security vulnerability in Framework that could a remote attacker using a specially crafted file to execute arbitrary code within the context of a privileged process.
HMD always release updates on time and has already clarified that all Nokia Android devices will receive a minimum of two years of OS update support.
